Families and local MP enjoy Westbury on Trym CofE Academy Red Squirrel Day

Familes turned out in force - despite the weather - for the Westbury-on-Trym CofE Acdemy Red Squirrel Day, which this year had an Olympic theme.
There were sporting competitions along with the usual school fayre attractions, music and plenty of stalls selling food and drink.
Head teacher Pam Derham, in her programme introduction, said: "This incredibly special event has been taking place for over forty years and some of the parents will have come to it themselves when they attended the school."
Bristol North West MP Charlotte Leslie joined in the fun and spent some time behind the barbeque.
